From July 16 - 17, 2025, Sawabenu, in collaboration with the United Nations High Commission on Human Rights (OHCHR), hosted a 2-day Capacity Building Workshop for Community Justice Advisors (CJAs) to strengthen their role in advancing Transitional Justice in Liberia in Kakata City, Margibi County. The training covered: Transitional Justice Approaches, Liberia's TRC & the Path to a War and Economic Crimes Court, Gender, Human Rights, and Victim's Rights, The Role of CJAs in promoting truth, justice, and reconciliation.
